I run the Keep Fit, Pilates, Latin and Ballroom dancing classes at the centre.  Having taught dance and keep fit for over 20 years, the aim of my sessions is to include a cardio workout plus toning to help sculpt the body.  The effects of exercise coordinate our mind, body and well-being, and everyone is encouraged to work at their own level whilst having fun!

The MSG Local History Group meets on the third Thursday of each month from September to June.  At our meetings we have talks from visiting historians and archaeologists, and their topics cover a wide range of historical places and people from our area. Some of our members carry out research into the history of the village, for example about the men from the village who died in the First World War.

At Christmas we have a social evening, with quizzes and games, and in May and June we visit a local site of historic interest with an expert guide.  The annual membership subscription is £12 per person and visitors are very welcome at a charge of £3 per meeting.
